Diamond Certification

For the reassurance of our customers Diamonds and Rings sells diamonds with grading certificates from the world’s leading independent gemologists with each diamond engagement ring over 0.30 carats confirming the cut, colour, clarity grade and the weight of your diamond.

We sell certificated  EGL diamonds (European Gemological Laboratory), EDR diamonds (European Diamond Reports), IGI diamonds (International Gemological Institute) and GIA diamonds (Gemological Institute of America).  These are all leading laboratories for the grading of diamonds.

Our standard diamond certification is by EGL and our premium certificated diamonds are graded by GIA, IGI and EDR.  The reason that these are classed as 'premium' is that these labs have slightly more stringent grading standards so that the colour and clarity may be slightly higher than those graded by EGL.  This is the reason for the price difference.

All of our diamonds have a minimum of 'Good' cut and we do not sell diamonds with any 'Poor' or 'Fair' qualities.
